Applications are welcome from all professionals or agencies who work with children and young people, and know their circumstances – social workers, head teachers, community nurses, health visitors, etc.

Borders Children’s Charity committee meets every month to consider applications. Urgent requests received between meetings can be fast-tracked to ensure children receive funding quickly.

Chrysties of Hawick support BCC by providing very competitive prices and free delivery. They also assemble the items and remove any packaging that needs to go. Chrysties provides excellent quality, choice and value for money and excellent customer service. If a client decides that they wish to purchase the item from an alternative supplier and it is more expensive, they are free to do so but we will only fund to the level stated by Chrysties.
