The BCC is delighted to announce that this year the charity has been awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. This is the highest accolade that can be awarded to a voluntary group and only a small number of organisations in Scotland receive the award each year. It is described as the MBE for volunteer Groups. We are honoured to have received this. The award stands as recognition of the 51 years of hard work that former and existing committee members have dedicated to the charity.
